Great news!  I just recently was hired to do freelance illustration work at TRIS3CT, an advertising company here in Chicago, and I’m doing a ton of Zombie portraits still!  Not only that, but I have random commissions that are starting to build up.  It’s so great, because I’m doing things I love all day and getting paid for it, but at the end of the day I don’t have as much energy to devote to Space-Mullet as I’d like.  HAVE NO FEAR, however, I am at least 4 weeks ahead as far as page creation/publishing goes.  I’m making it my duty to never miss a day when a comic should be posted.  This is by far my most treasured project.

I’ve had a great supportive community surrounding Space-Mullet so far, so when people have bought prints, I send them a little sketch, like this one, for my friend Jon, who has been following S-M since the beginning.  Look for this in the mail soon, Jon!

Then, in order to get a gig with TRIS3CT, I had to send them some storyboard illustrations.  Well, why not send an official Space-Mullet storyboard to impress?  It worked!

Lastly, I did a full watercolor illustration for a CreatureFORGE 2d jam over at CGHub.  It was a Diablo redesign, so I thought, why not mix it up?  I had a ton of fun with this one, and I think it came out really good.  I’m not planning on showing a lot of my work on this site that doesn’t have to do with S-M, but every once in a while, I think it’s good to show you guys some of my different styles, and it gives me a break from sequential work.

Get ready for page 22 tomorrow!
